Ink review 166 — Monteverde Ocean Noir

This is quite the nice blue! I wouldn’t quite call it a blue-black, but it’s deep, bold and even has the occasional red sheen. I think it’s easily the nicer of the two blues in the Noir
Wearingeul Tick Tock Croc —

It’s been a while since I last tried this ink since I didn’t love it back then. I still have more or less the same opinions. The color is great but it feels drier than it needs to be. Still, I kind of li
Anderillium Potomac —

It’s been a while since I pulled this one out, but it’s still a lovely dusty blue. Still not exactly Potomac colored, but hey, that’s probably a good thing 😬

Ink review 165 — Monteverde Mulberry Noir

I’m really surprised by this one! I was certain that it would be my least favorite in the collection, but once I got it in a pen it quickly became my second favorite! I don’t usually do ful
Anderillium Rosy Maple Moth Pink

Wow, it’s been years since I showed this one last, how time flies! Rosy Maple Moth is still excellent though — vibrant and bright, with a slight blue shadow depending on the lighting, especially on white
Ink review 164 — Monteverde Mercury Noir

Yay! It’s time! Mercury Noir is the one ink in the Noir Collection that I’ve already been using for years, and this happens to be my second bottle. It came in a pen I purchase a long time ag
Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-peki

The bad news is I wasn’t able to finish this weeks review. The fantastic news is I already had writing samples ready for a reshoot of Kon-peki! Still a fantastic ink. Still looks great with this @goldspotpens Blue Cob
Ink review 163 — Monteverde Jade Noir

This is the Noir Collection ink I was looking forward to reviewing the most! It’s the darkest green I’ve reviewed yet! There’s a hint of blue in there, but it’s still very green, an
Wearingeul The Secret Garden

Hmm maybe I’m ready for winter to go away. It’s been a while since I last tried this ink. 🤔 It’s gone slightly better this time, but the results are mostly the same. Needs a lot of agitation, big flow
Ink review 162 — Wearingeul The Picture of Dorian Gray

*spoiler warning*

It’s a light grey with strong purple and blue undertones and, my goodness, just look at that shading! I think the book is a hard one to put a color on, but I think
