Blog Update 12/2/2025 (And a Word on the 2025 Inkvent Situation)
Hello everyone!
It’s been a while since I did these, and I wish it were under better circumstances, but I’ll try to get through this as quickly as I can.
I’m sure some of you have noticed that we’re not doing Inkvent this year. Unfortunately, this has been an incredibly tough year for me, both mentally and physically; my health has not been well, and even in the Inkvent format, the toll that doing 25 reviews in one month has on me is not small. The decision was made months ago that I would not be able to handle Inkvent this year, and since then, things have only gotten worse. Still, I’ve held onto the condition that I would like to review the calendar in my own time if I can get a hold of one, and when (or if) I feel better in the future.
This Thanksgiving, I also had a very serious personal emergency come up that has turned my whole month upside down. For the time being, it will require all of my attention, and I’m afraid that I have to announce a brief hiatus until I can return my attention to the blog.
I want to thank everyone who’s reached out to me and offered their support during this difficult time, as well as all the support for the reviews that I’ve received. Especially now, it means a lot, and it’s been very uplifting. I hope to see everyone again soon (and I’m still available through my usual channels), but for now, I hope everyone continues to have a very happy holiday season, and I’ll try to be back as soon as I can.
